Move for Life
About Me
Hi, I’m Kayla, and I’m a personal trainer on a mission to help people move well — not just for the gym, but for life.
My Story
After years stuck behind a desk, I noticed my body was changing. Hips tight, back sore, strength fading. I realized I wasn’t moving the way I wanted, and the adventurous, playful lifestyle I loved was slipping away. That was my turning point. I dove deep into movement, strength, and mobility, learning how to move well for both now and the long term. Over time, that passion evolved into helping others feel the same freedom and confidence in their bodies.
Movement isn’t just about aesthetics or hitting a number on a machine; it’s about living fully, adventuring, playing, exploring, and feeling strong while doing it. For me, it’s personal: I want to maintain my mobility and independence, and I want the people I train to experience the same joy and freedom that comes from trusting their bodies.
What Move for Life Means to Me
Move for Life is about building a body you can rely on — one that supports every day and every adventure. It’s about strength, mobility, and resilience that lasts, and creating a relationship with your body based on trust and capability rather than fear or guilt. My goal is to help you feel good now and set you up for longevity in the future.
My Coaching Style
I’m warm, engaging, and dynamic — but I’ll also push you to go further and keep you accountable. I make training fun, but I don’t compromise on results. I love teaching movements in a way that helps you really understand your body, connecting mind and muscle so you move with confidence.
Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling freer in their bodies, more capable, and more connected to how they move. Those moments, when someone rediscovers joy and control in their own body, are exactly why I do this work.
Beyond the Gym
Outside of training, I’m an explorer at heart: hiking, climbing, canyoning, traveling, gardening, and diving into my love of history and creative projects. Movement is how I show up in the world; playful, curious, and fully present.
Why Work With Me
If you want to train for the everyday, improve your mobility, build strength, and develop a trusting relationship with your body, I can help you get there. I focus on real human movement, practical strength, and a lifestyle that supports you, not a trend.
Move for Life isn’t just a tagline — it’s a way of living.
